HUNTING SEASONS
(Actual seasons are not set by ADF&G until the Spring of each
year):

Caribou (Units 9B, 17B, ): Opens August 1st, closes
September 30th.
· Moose (Unit 9B, 17B & C): Opens September
5th, closes September 15th. New
restrictions on the rivers for non-residents in Unit 17.
· Moose (Unit 19B): Opens September 1st,
closes September 25th. Closed to Non-residents.
· Black Bear (Units 9B, 17B, 19B): No closed
season.
·
Sheep (various units): Opens August 10th.
